{"id":275,"date":"2012-10-16T12:10:45","date_gmt":"2012-10-16T12:10:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/figtreestudies.com\/?p=275"},"modified":"2012-10-16T12:31:17","modified_gmt":"2012-10-16T12:31:17","slug":"people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/figtreestudies.com\/?p=275","title":{"rendered":"People"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Anti-Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Anti-Christ is an individual that will live during the End-time.\u00a0 He will be given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies.\u00a0 He will blaspheme God\u2019s name, heaven, and those that follow God\u2019s teachings.\u00a0\u00a0 He will continue this behavior for three and a half years.\u00a0 His final fate is to be thrown into the Lake of Fire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Antipas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We do not know much about Antipas.\u00a0 His name appears in the KJV Bible only once and that is in the book of Revelation. What we do know is that he was a faithful follower of Christ.\u00a0 He resided at or near the town of Pergamos around 95 A.D. He became a martyr because he live in Satan\u2019s stronghold and his faith were unfeigned.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Balaam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Balaam was an Old Testament prophet.\u00a0 He went against the instructions of God and entertained King Balac (Balak) concerning the Children of Israel.\u00a0 He is labeled as a false prophet because he was instrumental in causing the children f Israel to stray from their teachings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Balac<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Balac (Balak) lived in the Old Testament and he was king of Moab.\u00a0 He feared the children of Israel; therefore, he successfully sought the help of the prophet Balaam to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Death<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Death is a symbolic name for the individual that rides the pale horse.\u00a0 This is a real person, but the symbolism indicates that this individual will cause a huge amount of death on earth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>False Prophet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The false prophet is just was the name implies.\u00a0 He will be teaching things contrary to God.\u00a0 He will command that people make an idol or image as a representative of his false God.\u00a0 He will demand that mankind worship that idol and many will be killed for refusing to worship it.\u00a0 He will also implement a system, where mankind will receive a mark on their foreheads or hands.\u00a0 His final fate is to be thrown into the Lake of Fire.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hell<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hell appears to be an individual that immediately follows \u2018Death\u2019, which is the rider on the pale horse.\u00a0 This is symbolic to show what follows physical death.\u00a0 Immediately after experiencing physical death, the soul of the deceased individual will be judged.\u00a0 If the deceased individual was not in a righteous state at the moment of death, then hell is right there to receive his soul.\u00a0 \u2018Hell\u2019 always follows right behind \u2018Death\u2019, to receive his Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, and He is also known as the Lamb of God.\u00a0 He received the revelation concerning things of the future from God the Father.\u00a0 Jesus gave the revelation to an angel and charged him to reveal it to John.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jezebel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jezebel is a woman that shared the same name of an Old Testament villain, which wreaked havoc on God\u2019s prophets.\u00a0 This woman lived in the region that encompasses the church of Thyatira.\u00a0 She usurped the name of a prophetess, so that she could better spread her doctrine with the intent to persuade individuals to depart from the faith.\u00a0 Even when given an opportunity to repent, she refused and continued her false teachings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>John<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>John is the author of the book of Revelation.\u00a0 He was also one of the original twelve Disciples of Jesus.\u00a0 He was exiled to the island of Patmos and while there an angel visited him and revealed to him a revelation.\u00a0 He recorded all the things that he witnessed and that record has become the book of Revelation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rider on the White Horse<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Actually there are two riders on a white horse.\u00a0 There is a rider on a white horse in Rev.6:1-2 and in Rev.19:11-16.\u00a0 The rider in Revelation 6 is the Anti-Christ and he goes about seeking whom he can conquer.\u00a0 The rider in Revelation 19 is none other than Jesus Christ
