Seals

First Seal

• White horse
• Rider given a crown went forth conquering and to conquer

 Second Seal

• Red horse
• Rider was given power to take peace from the earth
• Man should kill one another
• Given a great sword

Third Seal

• Black horse
• Rider had a pair of balances in his hand
• A measure of wheat for a penny
• Three measure of barley for a penny
• See that thou hurt not the oil and the wine

Fourth Seal

• Pale horse
• Rider’s name is Death
• Hell followed him
• Given power over fourth part of earth to kill
  • With sword
  • With hunger
  • With death
  • With beasts of the earth

Fifth Seal

• Souls under the alter that were:
• Slain for word of God
• Slain for the testimony they held
• Cried to God:
  • How long does thou not judge and avenge our blood
  • On them that dwell on earth

They were given white robes and told to wait a little season

• • Until their fellow servants and brethren also be killed
  • As they were, should be fulfilled

Sixth Seal

• Great earthquake
• Sun became black as sackcloth of hair
• Moon became as blood
• Stars of heaven fell to earth
• Heavens departed as a scroll when it is rolled together
• Every mountain and island was moved from its place
•  Men wanted rocks and mountains to fall on them to:
  • Hide them from the one who sitteth on the throne
  • Hide them from the wrath of the Lamb
  • Because the great day of his wrath has come

Seventh Seal

• Silence in heaven
• About the space of one half hour
