Trumpets

 

First Trumpet

  • Hail, fire mingled with blood cast into the earth
  • One third of the trees were burnt up
  • All the green grass burnt up

Second Trumpet

  • Great mountain burning with fire cast into the sea
  • Third part of the sea became blood
  • Third part of the creatures in the sea died
  • Third part of the  ships were destroyed

Third Trumpet

  • Great star fell from heaven burning as it was a lamp
    • Fell upon a third of the rivers and fountains of waters
    • Name of star is “Wormwood”
  • Third part of the waters became wormwood
  • Many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter

Fourth Trumpet

  • Third part of the sun was smitten
  • Third part of the moon was smitten
  • Third part of the stars were smitten
  • Day and night shone only for a third part of it

Fifth Trumpet

  • Star fell from heaven to earth and he opened the bottomless pit
  • Smoke came out of the pit and the sun and air was darken by this smoke
  • Locust came out of the smoke and were given power as the scorpions of the earth
  • Commanded they should not hurt
    • Grass of the earth
    • Any green thing
    • Neither any tree
  • Could hurt men who did not have the seal of God in their foreheads
    • Could not kill them, but could torment them five months
    • Men shall seek death but death will flee from them

  • Shapes of locust were like horses prepared to battle
  • On their heads as it was crowns of gold
  • Faces as the faces of men
  • Hair as the hair of women
  • Teeth as the teeth of lions
  • Breastplates as breastplates of iron
  • Sound of wings as sound of chariots of many horses running in battle
  • Tails as scorpions
  • King over them whose  name is:
    • Hebrew is Abaddon
    • Greek is Apollyon

Sixth Trumpet

  • Loosed four angels which were bound at the river Euphrates
  • Number of the army 200 000,000
  • Riders of the horses had breastplates of fire, jacinth, brimstone
  • Heads of the horses as the heads of lions
  • Out of their mouths issued:
    • Fire
    • Smoke
    • Brimstone
    • And by these were a third part of men killed
  • Their power is in their mouths and in their tails
  • Men not killed did not repent

Seventh Trumpet

  • Great voice from heaven saying:
    • “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of:
    • Our Lord and of His Christ
    • And He shall reign forever and ever”
  • Elders worshipped God
