What is the Abomination of Desolation?

The Abomination of Desolation is something that is abhorred by God. It is deemed to be so abominable that it causes one to be placed in a state of desolation. In other words, the abomination of Desolation is associated with the unpardonable sin or blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. The Abomination of Desolation is literally the appearance or substitution of an individual at a Holy site claiming that he is Almighty God. He also requests mankind to abandon all of their former spiritual beliefs and follow him. This request is also coupled with a little enticing persuasion that determines the remainder of one’s quality of life.
